I've seen an adult go from zero to professional in one year because he had the sheer passion of doing art and getting better. And I mean he has PASSION.

There's no limit, requirement, or anything of the freaking sort; only how much motivation and passion you have to get better, and how you apply it.

Different people will improve at different rates. You don't have to have one of those prodigal stories if you just put in the work.
