(sorry if this comes out shitty, i'll try my best to be coherent)
so i have been interested in /ic/ and /gd/ related things since high-school but lately there seems to be a shift in passions. I'm fulled invested in trying to git gud with my art but i'm starting to shun graphic design related stuff (you know that kid in your highschool class who would ask the teacher ''when am i going to use this in real life'' when ever the math would get to much for him/her?, thats how i feel when i attempt to practice any graphic design these days) the thing is that i can't drop /gd/ completely. i have an ominous feeling inside me that i'm going to need it in the future but i don't know if i'm paranoid or justified. when i git gud enough i know i'll switch to digital art, and i'm planning on hosting a website in the future and that will probably need some /gd/, but is that it? can someone on /ic/ tell me how much /gd/ an artist needs in, or at what times and in what situations an artist would have to use it, or am i just stupid and wasting a thread?

I guarantee you would've gotten more attention had you not had that picture.
I'd offer advice but I'm no veteran, I've only just begun on the path of GD/IC kinda shit.
