This is going to eventually be a full painting (I hope), but in order to do that I need some good critiques before I do anything. This is a sincerely rough, rough, rough sketch as an idea. I'm going to use straight lines for the background and copy the window, etc. But until then I need help on the composition or anything else that can be assisted here. Thank you.
It's been forever and a day since I last used /ic/, ehe... :T
hi mew :D
i'm not sure what to point out since i think it will look completely different once you fill the colours in and i dont know a lot about composition.
I guess you could try making the ears flop back like the cape does, and mb generally making the figure follow a bit more exaggerated "action line"? or something, im not sure.
also what the hell did i see on the main "board" while looking for this post. what is this place

You would have better answer by posting in one of the permanent Threads (beginners or draw threads).
Anyway, what's up with the crown, how can it fall like that when they are moving, Imagine that you're running, would your baseball-cap fall by jumping ahead of you or fall behind you?
> Also would make the cape fly behind to suggest that this thing is hastily going on, but that may just be me.

I'm worried about putting the ears back with the cape because then it might (due to physics) cover the chain the connects the cap, which I don't quite want to do because I definitely want to show that the cape is flying off....
I could try? And pull the cape back? Maybe. I don't know? Hm. Also what do you mean by "action line"?

Sorry. Should I delete this thread and then put it in the beginners? I'll do that if I should.
And if this is the thing I'll pull the cape back. Yeah. Then bring the ears back as well. I had put the crown originally to the right at right, but then I thought it was too busy there and I wondered if it would work here. Apparently not. Hmm.
Thank you.
