How about some of the projects he worked on?
I been curious what you guys think of his stuff for awhile since I really like how he draws his characters and animation. They even influence my art a bit.
Tell me /ic/ should I feel bad for liking his shit?
>>2607645
Well look, /ic/ demonstrates continuously the complete lack of aesthetic sense in favor of an obtuse adhesion to whats considered orthodox art, so you really don't need its approval for anything past shitting on digital artists that commit the sin of getting a bit popular.
this shit is pretty great if you want my opinion.

Thanks, I really can't put my finger why i enjoy his work other than how fluid he tends to draws/animates and how the faces are drawn.
Discovered him after watching his Wonder Woman shorts on CN and was surprised that he did animations for Gorillaz, Dance Central, concept art for Tron Uprising and Motorcity.

My dick
His handle on perspective his fucking nuts and cool as hell.
His animation methods on Pear Cider look great too. I'm not usually a fan of transforming illustrations to make animation but he does it very well.

Here you go then
>>2607744
I thought you were exaggerating but DAYUM
A person who really knows what he's doing
I like it.
>>2607848
Not only are the butts great, but I find the style really appealing.
>>2607645
neat style, but kinda seedy subjects (so to speak). Interesting but I don't love it.
>>2607645
Don't dig the op pic just cause it looks like her other leg is coming out of her ass. The rest of his stuff looks really cool tho. He definitely has a good handle on the fundies and he's just having fun with it.
One of the few production artists who understands that the style is the message. The warped fish eye perspective and dynamic angles fits perfectly with his favored subjects of druggy sex and sexy drugs. He was the animation director of this beast and won awards (actual art is done by Mielgo so its good because they were together.)

if you like robert valley there's a decent chance you might be interested in jim mahfood and ashley wood, jamie hewlett too probably, basically any artist who's ever worked on tank girl
Dumping some more since the responses seem to be positive
>>2608188
oh whops, also forgot to mention barth @ yearinmerde.blogspot.com (felt the need to link him cause he's a bit obscure), also ronald wimberly
also check out the urbance animation if any of these artists piqued your interest
His butts are always on point
>>2608196
oh shit i always thought jamie hewlett drew all the artists in the submarines
>>2607645
my favourite artist in animation atm, tron uprising was great and I can't wait for pear, cider and cigarettes to be released.
>>2608225
I think you'd like Otto Schmidt but idk maybe I'm just retarded
>>2608261
I like his work though it feels a bit comic bookish for my taste :)
Man, I REALLY like his work. Everything is in motion, even that portrait. I love how he exaggerates the body parts the take more motion. One of my many art goals is to make my style a bit more loose and recognizable. Do you have any more artists, OP?
>>2608367
Don't have alot of artists with the whole loose and fluid style like Valley as I thought anon. Not sure if theses would do but here you go:
ohnonatalie
hera herakut
laura laine

>Tell me /ic/ should I feel bad for liking his shit?
...yes, because you obviously have no clue what the fuck you are talking about. WHY would you care if IC approves? are you 10?
this is why so much tumbler art (younger artists) are shit, kids just emulate trendy shit... they themselves do not have opinions. they just copy whats popular.
robert valley is rad - if you cant figure that out, please go back to playing Pokemon-go
quit posting on the internet and go draw shit if you want to get better.

>laura laine
hera's a babe
>>2608478
But I never played it tho
