I used to draw 6-12 hours a day, but it drained me within a month. Now I draw for however long I want. Definitely more than 2hrs a day.

I try to avoid counting my hours; because it made drawing feel more like work. That mentality doesnt help me, to be honest.

Its always about how i feel, i do 2 Hours everyday but sometimes i draw even like 5 Hours.

i'm more curious about how much /ic/ tends to work, considering the goal for a lot of us is to make it our full time job

i think 6-8 hours a day is optimal for learning. any more than that is too much to be able to concentrate properly, unless you want to go into rendering or comfort zone drawing

I average 7 hours a week, 30 hours a month.

I want to improve that, but it's better than nothing. I'm just a dirty hobbyist anyway.

Sometimes 6 hours, sometimes 10 hours, sometimes 2 hours but i do stuff everyday

I get in at least an hour per day on weekdays, maybe more if I spend all my time drawing on the train, barring Monday when I usually draw all night from 6:30-11 or so. Saturday is usually a wash, and I'll get a solid few hours in on Sunday. So as a minimum, probably fourteen hours or so. Maybe twenty if I'm being generous. I work full time and it's take an hour to get back from work though, so it's a pain in the ass to get into the swing of drawing or painting on a weeknight. Also laziness, mostly laziness actually. Should start getting a few hours in on weeknights and do stuff on Saturday.

I guess the optimal amount is however much you can practice without it becoming a futile effort. Some people are just freaks who can do it all day and night without a worry.
