Guess I shouldn't expect much help from the circle jerk NEETs here on this board who either scream "don't go to art school", "needs more Loomis", and "get good" memes, was hoping for something useful.

It depends if you live in big city and what country and if you have some technical interests/skills and what exactly do you mean by web design studies.
Web design is and will stay popular, there will be always someone wanting to have pretty website with layout in reactive design or GUI that reads well.
On the other hand you would like to learn web technologies and platforms good as well as some programming languages such as JavaScript, Ruby on Rails, Python etc.
Advertisement can be tricky as well as getting employed and working in advertisement agency since it's a bit specific job. On the other hand USA has pretty mature advertisement sector and skills you learn there could help you even if you choose to freelance or work in say, publishing magazines.
Tough call OP. Depends upon several factors, among others on your personality, goals and residence. See, Miami for example is major media centre, but countries such as Poland, Ukraine or Russia are targets for outsourcing IT.

It's a runescape meme you dip.
trade school.
your years in community college were wasted.
be prepared to not have a piece of paper to boost your ego and make you "employable".
if you work harder then everybody else in the room you will get good and find work.

Trade school as in technical college, aka plumbing, welding, or an actual art trade school?
