Pick up Preston Blair's books on animation. He worked for most of the big studios such as Disney, MGM, Warner Bros. etc. His books cover cartoon character construction in great detail.

Trace to understand style, but also study animal facial structure etc so you know what's going on under the surface. As far as anthro styles go, zootopia is very sturctural and realistic, hard to replicate well. Been drawing animals for 10 years, zootopia style is still challenging and hard to get accurate.

Animation, especially Disney animation, is very gestural(as the earliest animators at Disney were classically trained artists who studied the figurative arts of the Renaissance)

Now I'm not saying you need to go study the old masters, but I recommend picking up

Break it down into its constituent primitive shapes (spheres, cones, etc.). That will help a great deal with perspective and creating the illusion of depth. Eyeballing won't teach you anything if you're not analyzing.

Look at how the masses of hair on this one's neck. They're larger and follow the normal grain of fur that would exist on an actual fox's neck.

Also, learn how to attach the ears properly through perspective. I realize this is likely some of your first times drawing, but look at how the ears attach in the other pic. They have broken lines and spacing that make the ear look attached, and even though the other ear is covered up, you can clearly tell the other visible ear is down, so you obviously won't see the other one. Yours are just sized at random, with the back ear always flicked down like the top half always missing.
