So is "Loomis" work like this supposed to make you better, because after I finish the torso I did feel like I have improved, is it supposed to be so detailed?

Work on shading/values next.

LOL NO

Keep working on anatomy, the other anon is a shitlord.

Your drawings feel flat like you didn't fully understand how to construct them.

You should deconstruct objects in life. Then do the reverse when you build your drawing on paper no matter what it is.

Ah ha! This is OP what do you think about this stuff, I had a HB so it's pretty light.

Best advice is to draw skeletons first, then eventually build muscle mass and skin so your image on the right doesn't look like an emo high-schooler sketch.

People don't normally look that ripped really. In-depth anatomical knowledge isn't as important as being able to represent the figure as a simple 3D object in space with a natural gesture. Knowing where all the muscles go and what they do can come later.

Focus more on the pages about gesture and perspective in the Loomis books. And pick up Michael Hampton's book if you haven't already.

Not after just one page you little shit

Try doing it 99 times more then come back

This.

Our friend here needs basic understanding of form and volume before he should even know where basic muscles go. If you can't draw a cube in volume you certainly won't manage a whole body.
