That doesn't look like natural color.
>>2456222
Could I get references of men viewed from behind, with arms slightly bent? (as if moving to take something off their head?)
Anyone got some city references? Specially dense city streets ala New York/Manhattan?
>>2456445
What about it doesn't look natural?
>>2456567
Dunno, the greens look way too green.
>>2456581
Have you lived all your life in a city or what?
Get out in a forest in spring. It's fucking amazing.
>>2456562
Just use google street view m8.
>>2457036
You could even use street view to draw people.
>>2457062
Or for some nice portrait painting practice.
>>2457036
>fisheye
shit has distorted perspective and could fuck you up. To practice drawing buildings it's best to just go into the city sit on a bench and draw.
The reason people use ref photos for people is because it's hard to get a person(especially naked) to sit for 2 hours for you to draw them. City doesn't move so get out and draw them buildings.
is there a site with normal people just doing whatever?
drawing posed models gets boring and i don't want to go outside ;_;
i would go to soc but it's just mostly headshots and that gets boring too
>>2457090
>distorted perspective
You can zoom in all you want, problem solved.
Besides, I don't see how it would fuck you up if you got some basic knowledge of perspective and focal lenght, which would be good to have before you start drawing stuff like architecture anyways.
>The reason people use ref photos for people is because it's hard to get a person to sit for 2 hours for you to draw them
using ref =/ coyping the image
You could be looking just for the overall look of a certain kind of city or some architecture, street view is a great resource for that, though granted, not exactly hi res, but it works for a variety of purposes.
>draw from life when you can
fair enough
Does anyone have any good references of horses?
>>2457102
Have you been through all the previous ref threads yet? Tons of stuff there.
Also, look three posts up m8, no ballin quality but enough for gesture drawing and character inspiration, pic related.
What else could you look for?
Google image search:
-search for any sport, specific events or names will get more results
-search for places where a lot of people are, a mall or tourist site
Again, the more specific, the better, just searching something like "people in the park" will mostly just result in stock photos and shitty graphics.
edit: actually just searched that, could be worse.
Youtube.
You know, just think of anything someone could do and search for a video about it, almost every frame will give you a new ref.
Also porn.
And archives of movie screencaps.

Just go on /soc/ and start a thread asking for references. Name the body part or scenario and someone will oblige after the shitposts.
These are really nice! Thank you, anon~

dem horse tiddies
This guy has a shit ton of horse stock, they're usually pretty clear, good quality, and has the whole horse in frame
>>2457982
Forgot the link lol. Just ignore the shitty photoshop projects and check out the galleries on the side

Any good images of muscular legs? I know the previous thread had a few muscular people, but not too many showing the entire body. Needing leg references if possible.

You might be interested in Howard Schatz’s Athlete photos. He photographs line ups of different athletes and you can see a variety of athletic builds. I don't know any one resources that has all of them, but if you just plug "Howard Schatz Athletes" into google images you can find them.
>>2458102
can i get some interesting still life set ups like this?
>>2458102
There's actually a book on it. That can work. Thanks for the info.
>>2458176
We've had some still life dumps in the previous threads

>>2458271
Either works appreciate it man

Eh, I live in a very arid region of the world, so our green forests are a little more desaturated yellows, I guess.
Can I request a head in this angle, (optimally raising their upper lips in anger, or disgust), I need to do this study badly after failing with this POS but I don't know how to search for it.
>>2458547
As good as I can find atm.
Also the ear looks a little low and forward.
>>2458561
don't be afraid of the male body. you won't turn gay just from looking at a penis.

Though I haven't tried it yet, I'm thinking that maybe you could use the 3D view first, rough in the drawing, then use the Street View to add details.
It might work well
>>2459451
Sounds a little convoluted when there's so much street photography out there without the disorientation.
boop
>>2458368
That could make for some interesting landscape studies.
>>2458547
Mouth looks small and the chin looks very receded, though maybe that's what you wanted.
you are all a bunch of closet homosexuals
>>2469117
You seem a liiiiittle insecure about your sexuality.

>can't draw males without feeling le gay xd
Never gonna make it, kill yourself, ect.
