I've read loomis, tried photo studying, pose studying, did gesture drawing and I still do them, but no matter what kind of body I draw, it always looks wrong to me
Like...
> I find a drawing of a female body, really well drawn
> I perfectly trace over it, look at what I traced, it's shit
Why is this happening !? It's as if I hate everything I draw...
Also, what's the best / fastest way to learn how to draw bodies ?
>Where is the magic shortcut?
There is none, anon, really, there is no magic shortcut. You just have to draw more to gain an understanding of the body.
Without that knowledge you gain by drawing a lot more, your traces will look shit.
Draw more bodies. Seriously, that's it.
Draw a body, spend some time identifying what you think went wrong. Draw again. Rinse and repeat.
I'm still shit, but I'm less shit than I was and I imagine I will be less shit going forward. Just don't stop.

Dude, it takes years to get a handle on this stuff. Stop being a weak minded pussy and go draw.

Sounds like you'd probably benefit from regular life drawing classes.

because anatomy knowledge ain't the same as actually drawing something for looking at.
