Hey /ic/, what are your thoughts about Stereograms? is it art?
I really like it, if anyone has a good stereogram or just a crappy one he made feel free to share it.

is that a sombrero?
assuming you've already have a 3d model (or a z buffer render), and some texture, what software would you need for doing this kind of thing?
>>2421956
Stupid magic eye, I always see this stuff inverted because of the cross-eyed 3d method.
>>2421956
What am I looking at? It's just a weird lump in the middle.
Looks like a pocket with a transparent outer layer, with a sun symbol in the middle that has six rays?
I see lizards

fuck, now i see it. i had no idea these things could include semitransparent layers, but there's clearly a concave layer and a sun behind a semitransparent convex layer
A long time ago I saw an exceptionally good one.
It featured a shark, sunken ship and a varity of underwater creatures and a diver.
Really well made, if anyone knows what I'm talking about and can share it, that would be awesome.

these are just troll images, right?
i've never been able to see the things supposedly in them and everyone who i know who can only "sees" the image once someone tells them what it's supposed to be.
these are just mind games right?

I used to have the same problem, you just have to imagine you're looking at something far off in the distance.

Not sure if you're serious but I can confirm you can see something in this images, it's like watching one of those 3d movies where things get new dimensions. You just need to focus your eyes as if you wanted to see something far away, it might take a few minutes.
In OP's case I could see a concave background with a bunch of toher shapes making dome sort of dome.

You see the pattern? Each one of your eyes needs to focus on a different part of the pattern.
See >>2422952
Also pic related. I made it right now.

Yes I can see it, I don't know if that is how it works, just that it does
