so im trying to learn perspective, trouble is i have problems visualizing so i need the learning process to involve an area im intimately familiar with.

Can anyone explain the Basic most Basics of perspectives (redundant, slow repetitive)

Just put horizontal line on the page, place a vanishing point, draw a square, draw lines from the corners to the square to the vanishing point.
