Also just eyeballing, but OP's lines also appear to diverge rather than converge, so in addition to the skewing you're demonstrating, the top view would also be wider and taller at the back.

nope. they're all exactly 45.4 degrees.
however, the front side is slightly higher than wider, so it can't be a perfect cube.

Curiously, if you transform it vertically to 98.7%, you get a perfect isometric cube at 45.0 degrees
