Just do some studies a couple times a week and practice the fundamentals. Then continue to draw like normal while using what you learned from last time.

I want to make my own porn instead of rolling the dice in a drawthead (I also have no money for commissions so you see why I browse drawthreads) but I'm fucking tired of seeing people better than me. Also it's fucking hard to improve and the human brain takes way too long to teach the body to draw well. Sick of feeling like I'm worthless and what I draw now is so terribly most people would be disgusted I guess.

I'm going to assume what you actually mean is that you don't feel you've been making adequate progress and you think perhaps something's wrong with you
In that case let's look at your situation
>how long have you been drawing?
>how much of that time has been spent actually studying what is necessary to git gud
>were you studying effectively?
>how good are you now?
Compare your situation with other artists that aren't obvious autistic savants
Also remember that the best of the best always rise to the top so you'll be comparing yourself to someone who's gotten the best possible results and also probably cherry picked the art they're showing you.
If you still feel you haven't made nearly adequate progress despite intensive and effective studying than you should probably kill yourself because it means you're retarded


Effective studying is different for everyone. It's popularly told that you need to study 6 hours a day in some Pseudo Patagonian method of 23 minutes off and then drink a sip of earl grey tea for 5 minutes and repeat but it really all comes down to sculpting your mind and body to be an effective learner and there's infinite ways to do that
You might burn out easier than someone else
You might get distracted easier
You might not like earl grey tea

I like you, because you took the time to explain things, even if they are obvious for some people. Yeah, I dont learn effectively and I feel like a piece of shit because of that. I also have my personal problems who affect my attitude and make me depressed very often.

Its really hard to be a master at drawing.

It's very very unlikely you're actually incapable of not being able to git gud, it really can feel like a fruitless struggle sometimes
But just remember that as long as you keep on drawing you'll be constantly improving. And remember you've got your whole life to git gud.
