I have been trying to improve recently
>>478881
>>478882
I like the shading
>>478922
Thank you.
Lines are very clean and smooth. Nice job with blending the colored pencil. Simplistic and sweet. Suggestions: add some background or designs around the subjects. Please continue. It is very nice so far.
>>478881
All your stuff is disgustingly adorable I love it.
>>478881
you have a really good grip on lineart and having even proportions. in due time your art style will just age with time. from cutesy anime to large scale semi realistic painting style.
>>478981
Thanks alot. I will try add a background to my next drawing hopefully it will be alright although i am not so good at backgrounds.
>>478986
Thank you thats really kind and glad you think they are cute!
>>478987
Thanks thats reassuring to hear. Also yeah I would like to both!
you take requests?
>>478881
I don't think /i/ is the best place to ask for art advice.
i might be biased here because i am colour blind, but work less on the shading, more on the actual lines. I read on a forum somewhere that people can use colours to make up for their lack of skill when it comes to linework.
Try posting a one of your drawings without any shading and let people judge that.
>>479180
I am sure it can still help. Plus you just posted a 10/10 work
>>479172
No ones really asked but sure I would although it could take a while to do
>>479196
Interesting I might post one later although I dont think it would be a big issue if colouring did make up for it
Also heres another image not my newest
let me rephrase what i said to be more blunt. using colour can fool people into thinking your drawings are good. sort of like a magician averting your attention from what hes actually doing.
Try flipping one of your drawings horizontally, or looking at it with a mirror. you will see all the flaws that it has.
Another way to check if a drawing is good is to look only at the silhouette. If your drawing was only a silhouette, would it still look good? or does it look misshapen like something is off?
I flip images i draw horizontally all the time to check for mistakes. the silhouette one is more for improving poses.
like this

Right okay I get you. again i will post later. >>479200
lol not me
Included another old drawing just to show its me
>>479200
I am dumb I get why that was posted now

Requesting Rukia doing something cute with a Ralts (the pokemon)
>>478881
Great job, keep it up
Been kinda busy so I havent done that much.
Here's a pixel art thing I done(not sure if thats allowed here?)
>>479334
I might do that
>>479337
Thanks alot I will!
>>480832
lol thanks?
>>481261
>I might do that
sweet!
>>481261
It's all cute and very professional, but I dare you to go out of your comfort zone. Draw a badass dragon, or a Humvee with a commando with akimbo shotguns out of the top.
Still havent really had much time so heres something one of my friends requested.
>>481263
Thanks I guess that wouldnt be a bad idea.
I also did this little doodle
Messed a few things up like the hands
You definitely need to improve on proportions.
>>482905
arms much too short (hands should be by the thighs standing), legs too short, ends up making the torso look super long.
>>482920
nah dude she is just a Longcat
>>482920
Yeah I know, they are probably more messed up than usual because I tried actually drawing the hands without just hiding them
>>482923
lol thanks
>>482955
your work is really cute
I'd say the way you draw torsos are a tad elongated and poses are a little stiff. Otherwise, not bad so far. I'd probably start going with non-ruled paper too.
>>482971
Thanks alot
!>>482995
Yeah thanks I will try fix that, just hoping the more I do I will slowly understand that better. Also yeah I will!
Also heres a pixel art thing I done
>>478881
i didn't know 13 year old girls go on 4chan.
but really, it depends on what you want to do, op. if you just want to draw cute anime chibis then your current art is fine, could improve a bit on proportions though. but if you're aiming for something more advanced you should go out of your comfort zone. draw mechas or detailed architecture or something like that.
also really consider studying anatomy, because if you don't it will look really bad when you try to draw realism. it also helps even when you're drawing cartoons or anime, because it helps you develop your own style by knowing which parts of the body to exaggerate/stylize (like caricatures) and it helps it look less stiff and more dynamic.
a lot of artists say that copying is bad, but i would actually advise it (of course don't post the stuff you copy online)
by that i mean don't directly trace others drawings, study their techniques and what they did to make something look a certain way, etc.
>>483082
Try to use a bit less anti-aliasing than you currently do. The shadow next to Kirby's foot in the foreground doesn't make sense with the lighting. Otherwise, it's pretty good, better not to scale up pixel art with AA though.
>>479197
make me want to buy some coloured pencil
C U T E
It's very cutesy, I like it.
>>483091
I am surprised you didn't! Anyways your advice seems good so thanks! Although I dont think I will do the copy thing since I would prefer just try make something original even if learning.
>>483092
O sorry I haven't actually able to do so as I have been sorta busy and sick recently.(I also kinda forgot to check here sorry. However I am still not saying I wont do it.)
>>485315
Thanks
>>485326
You should do so then, its pretty fun!
>>485328
Thank you!
>>485337
Thanks I always hope that its cute.
>>483101
Thanks also yeah I kinda forgot to include a non upscaled ver of kirby
>>485408
>O sorry I haven't actually able to do so as I have been sorta busy and sick recently.(I also kinda forgot to check here sorry. However I am still not saying I wont do it.)
Its no problem, I appreciate you still considering it, but would it be possible to change it from a Ralts to a Froakie?
>>485412
Sure if thats what you would like.
>>485877
perfect, thanks
also cute comic
