Here's a very rough summary:

Back in 2015 mozillla decided that it needs to improve performance to compete with chrome, so they should parallelize everything, isolate tabs in their own processes and so on. In other words, they should become a chrome clone.

To do this, they have to drop the lower level functionality of their addon apis, which allow addons to modify the browser's behavior itself, and not just the current page's behavior.

This pretty much means that any firefox addon that does not have a chrome version will not work anymore starting with firefox 57.

Fans of the eliminated girls whine about the show being rigged, but I don't think this is fair criticism of JYP at all. From the very beginning, he made it clear that this was his group and he would make the final decision. He only asked the public to help him in making a good one.

Of course he had an idea of who he thought were the best candidates, but I'm convinced that he did change his mind during the show, at least in regards to Tzuyu and Minyoung.

Tzuyu might be the best example of how the group wasn't set in stone. At first JYP did not think she was ready at all, but she showed that she was a hard worker, she had good chemistry with the other members who made it and maybe more importantly, the public loved her. She ended the show at first place on the audience vote.

Natty's talent as a dancer was pretty obvious to anyone paying attention. She was coming up with her own choreography and she looked great performing it. But she was too young for Twice and she didn't even come close to getting the level of popularity that Tzuyu got. I agree with her getting cut, but I also think that JYP had every intention of debuting her later.

If she had shown potential when it comes to her singing, she would have easily made the final group without JYP having to apologize for it. Honestly, I think Momo failed to show that she had what it takes in terms of skill, but in the end JYP thought it would be better not to break up the Japanese trio, which I also agree was the best decision.

I get what you mean by saying the show wasn't rigged, because it was never intended to be a free for all (which P101 was closer to, but not entirely). But it makes sense that people had their jimmies rustled when some contestants never had a chance of getting into Twice and that they were only used for showtime and drumming up interest, especially when if they're under the assumption each girl had a chance.

My point of view is definitely more aimed at how the individual girls' feel, though. Survival shows make me sad and I don't like seeing rookies/idols cry. From a media standpoint, Sixteen was the perfect way to garner interest and sympathy for Twice and the next JYPE group.

Plus Tzuyu and Dubu pretty much joined the group due to how popular they were, so this was all to Twice's benefit.

I'm not sure if you're the same anon who didn't watch the show, but JYP was always very warm when talking to her and giving her criticism. He made it clear that she was very talented, though she could still improve her singing, and that she was young and had a bright future ahead of her. In my opinion, out of all the girls who didn't make it, Natty was the one who had the least reason to be upset.

I do also feel bad about her almost giving up on becoming an idol, but if anything, I think that's due to her own immaturity.

In regard to Momo, I don't think she had a 100% chance of making it (see above). I think the only girls who were actually safe were the ones who were both popular and consistently showing good performances, like Chaeyoung, Jungyeon and Nayeon.
