With Sixteen they played it perfectly. It was a great show for selecting the members. Everyone was already loving them before they even debuted. Lots of other agencies are/have been doing the same. Look at ioi after Produce 101 and other girl groups that had people involved with it. Look at what they're doing with Loona.

They're the ones that were able to not drop out from having to balance school/trainee practice/outside extra practice/still trying to maintain a social life. The pretty and talented ones decide it isn't worth it and drop out to go into smaller agencies (usually with no success). Look up former JYP trainees who have debuted. Also, saying they're all untalented is a bit of a stretch. Some of them are genuinely good dancers and one of them can actually sing (just not while dancing).

Don't get me wrong, I like Twice and OMG (honestly couldn't care less about Gfriend). But they aren't top tier visual groups. There are definitely top tier visuals IN the groups (Tzuyu being one of them), but the average member is not anything special for idol standards. You mention Blackpink and I think of them as a group of top tier visual members. It helps there are only 4 of them though.

I've gone the two last years. Concerts are for sure worth going to. The convention was ok. I actually was a big fan of the pit, because of how long you have to wait to get a good spot. I was against the railing and almost pulled Zico off the stage a couple years back.

Bora also waived at me during Lead Me which is my favorite Sistar song. For sure worth going if you get low level seats. It you're high up it's like watching a fancam, but really expensive.
