I'm glad I got to listen to this song before reading anyone's reaction. I think it's a cool song, though somewhat weird. But that's how I felt about all Twice songs. If I had listened to it after reading all the hate, I might have started worrying that I'm only liking it because the average Twice fans disliked it.

And there's a really nice upside that I hadn't considered before. I just saw someone saying that with this song JYP failed to solidify Twice's position in Korea right before going on a long period of absence due to their Japanese promotions. If the negative reaction actually makes Twice come back to Korea sooner, that would be fucking great.

When you think about it, a little hate keeps groups and agencies on their toes. Keeps them making real efforts to please their fans. I just hope the girls and based JYP don't take it too hard.
