To put it bluntly in my own personal opinion, the thing that really sucks about being into this shit is that there are really only about half a dozen excellent quality creators that very infrequently put anything new out, and another dozen decent-good creators that still uncommonly put anything out. Then there are the scores of not so good creators that upload almost every day without even making an attempt at improvement. What sucks even more is when the really fantastic creators put something out and it turns out to either be a model or a situation/size that doesn't appeal to you in the slightest; you conclude to yourself that you won't be saving anything new for a while. On the other hand (and I've made this point in previous threads) it's equally confounding when someone uses a perfect model at a perfect size with a perfect background, but the actual photo manipulation aspect is dreck, with grossly uneven lighting, shoddy cutouts, or even a stretched to hell background/foreground where it becomes a mess.

All that said, even the worst of the worst can do better than anything I've tried before.

Some of you lads should think about doing commissions.

I'm not sure which quality bracket I or anyone else would put my work in, but I like to think I make a reasonable effort to produce quality content and improve my skills over time. So here are my thoughts on the matter:

At the end of the day, for most of us, it's porn. A lot of people just don't have the time, required privacy, or motivation to put in a whole lot of effort into something that we're mostly just keeping secret online. Most of the good collages I know will routinely put hours of work into individual collages, and it can be difficult to justify that kind of time commitment, especially if you want to upload new work with any regularity. How do you juggle this kind of activity with a super active social or family life, or a demanding job?

When you step back and look at it, many (most?) of the collage artists in the community are happy to just slap together two images with minimal effort, squint at it while fapping, and then spend the rest of their night doing anything else. I can't entirely blame them, especially when they'll still get a reasonable level of praise for their work in various parts of the community. If you're just out for a quick fap and some kudos, you'll find it without having to put in too much work.

As for commissions, they're something I've mostly avoided. I'm the kind of person whose work is fairly mood dependent, and forcing myself to work on a collage I have no motivation for is just a pain. It usually ends up hurting the quality too. I've got a whole host of half-finished and/or abandoned collages sitting in a folder somewhere, I should probably make an effort to be more deliberate with what I choose to start working on.

Out of interest, what sorts of ideas did you have in mind for collages? It's always good to hear a bunch of fresh suggestions for ideas, models, etc. Who knows maybe your ideas will inspire one of the resident artists?

One of the bigger female producers in the community, "Giantess Katelyn" has basically said that this sort of stuff is what she likes about the fetish.

Then there are some people who basically just like the idea of there being more of something they love. If you have a foot fetish (which plenty of people into the size fetishes also seem to have), you might like the idea of having a foot so large you can literally climb all over, rub yourself on, and so forth. Imagine a sub who has a foot fetish - the idea of being dropped into a woman's shoe/sock all day might be appealing. Or imagine a giant pair of boobs you can climb, lay on, or wedge yourself between. Things like that. And heck, there's just something about taking something like an attractive woman, and just magnifying everything about her.

And there is a voyeuristic aspect to it. Shrinking can act similarly to the "being invisible in the girl's locker room" type fantasies. Shrink yourself tiny and hide in a woman's room to spy on her while she gets dressed, explore her body while she sleeps, things of that nature. But there's also the added "thrill" of the woman potentially spotting the tiny dude, leading back to the domination aspect.

And there's a lot more I could bring up too, but space is limited. Hopefully this gives some taste of some of the avenues people come to the fetish from.

More like I've made four acceptable ones, and a number of images that didn't quite work out. I've been fucking around with color blending and matching the lighting between the source image and the background, and have had several that I just wasn't satisfied with. Plus I'm working with the same handful of source images.

This is probably the only other one that turned out alright.
