The chick from Mr Robot
>>2764053
She almost makes me want to get through season 2 of Mr Robot.

Really? She's the worst aspect of both seasons. Surely among the weaker cast members, but the real issue is the writers have a very loose grasp on her character psychology and motivation. I never understand her decision making process. She is a fucking cipher used to make a point, most of the time. And has now become the subject of a weird Lynchian dream-logic subplot that came the fuck out of nowhere and didn't resolve by the finale. Esmail has his moments, but it's pretty clear to me that he was given too much power this season.
Love the FBI agent played by Meryl Streep's daughter, she was a great addition to the female cast, maybe the first truly interesting woman on the show.
she instagrammed herself in the shower the other day. hot sideboob action

>loose grasp on her character psychology and motivation
So true. I didn't notice her character being weak in the first season, but in S2 she makes no sense. I stopped watching after E03 though.

but she is more involved then we initially thought. that's the thing.
I think she’s hot btw.

>Love the FBI agent
Are you on crack?
That's got to be bait because she is so forced and awful.
>>2764271
>subplot that came the fuck out of nowhere and didn't resolve by the finale
There are 3 more seasons planned. Why would you expect resolution in s02 finale?
>>2765089
Seriously, this show can't decide whether to be absolutely amazing or just meh, and Angela is definitely the biggest culprit. I considered stopping after episode 3 as well, but I'm going to plow through it.

what the fuck kind of name is portia
heard it in a movie recently and it was just funny, "porsha, porsha come here, psst psst, good girl porsha!"

Not on crack. Just find her to be a wonderfully human callback to the Clarice Starling archetype, performed with aplomb by Meryl Streep Jr.
Not to mention, she's the subject of two of the best scenes in the whole season: namely, the shooting at the hotel and that fucking heartbreaking conversation with the AI installation in her home (which, I suspect, was a nod to Spike Jonze's 'Her').

Season 1 left all the right questions unanswered and tied up all the threads that mattered, with a nice little stinger at the end. Season 2 felt far less complete and, for me, was unsatisfying as a piece of storytelling. I imagine it will work better years from now for people who binge watch the show, but my favourite showrunners find a way to make each season feel whole and yet part of something larger. The way Mr Robot Season 2 handled plot revelations and cliffhangers was more what I expect from The Walking Dead, which is sad.
she's so retarded I can't even fap to her anymore
can barely go on the premise of hate-fuck
chicks this stupid just kill it for me

This has got to be bait.

>that fucking heartbreaking conversation with the AI installation in her home
yup, bait.
No one could be this pretentious.
There was nothing Clarice Starling about her other then being in the FBI and female. Zero. Nothing.
and that AI conversation was sooooo bad and laughable.
Seriously anon, great bait job.
and if by the off chance you're serious.
It's time to kill yourself.
Moaaaaaar
she look like a sub-amanda seyfried

What possible motivation could I have for "baiting" you into being angered by my feelings on a TV show? You've been on the internet too long, my friend.
As for the notion of finding the AI exchange "heartbreaking." I was simply moved by the scene, one that I found deeply relatable. Streep Junior's performance, for my money, was sensitive and highly sympathetic and I have high hopes for her career going forward. But then, I'm something of a normie. If your kneejerk reaction to encountering emotion in others is to throw out accusations of pretension then 4chan is definitely the place for you, I guess. Please stay in your containment zone.
Apart from the obvious parallels. Clarice Starling faces similar pigheadedness in the establishment for which she works. She is also sexually repressed. She is also far more adept than her superiors realise. Esmail fucking worships Jonathan Demme, evidenced in everything from cinematic formalism to soundtrack choices, so I'm pretty sure the Clarice Starling comparison is apt.
I'd be curious to hear you break down and explain why you found the AI conversation "bad and laughable." Because, see, that would make for a conversation.
