This one is interesting: This uboot has a net cutter, which you can see at the front. They were in use when nets were employed to hinder or stop submarines. They weren't really effective, even against subs that didn't have those saws.

It took me about 9 months or so. When I got to the boat it was in dry dock and most of the systems were removed,which makes it harder to qualify lol. But anywhere from 9-12 months is normal. I was a sonarman myself, good luck

Well, they are more or less pictograms, so of course they bear resemblanche. But Fang den Hut came before the first pedestrian traffic light. Also, several countries devised their own Ampelmännchen. Most of those were man-shaped - remember, it was a complete novelty, so I suppose having traffic lights show pedestrians got the message across better. And the original Fang den Hut art had "actual" people, i.e. skin-coloured faces and they wore their colour and coloured hat.

The album is from 1918 and documents the U.B. 110 before she was scrapped on the dry docks of Swan Hunter

The twin-screw German submarine U.B. 110 was built by Blohm & Voss, Hamburg. On the 19th July 1918, when attacking a convoy of merchant ships near Hartlepool, she herself was attacked by H.M. Motor-Launch No. 263 and suffered from depth charges. Coming to the surface she was rammed by H.M.S. Garry, a torpedo boat destroyer, and sunk.
