Hello everyone, I've recently purchasing a few posters so I can fully appreciate the resolution of various pictures. However, when I buy them they're often low quality or not up to par. And the selection is really bad.
How can I get really high-quality prints of copyrighted material I find on /hr/?

Nobody gives a fuck about copyright if you're printing singles. They'll happily answer questions about resolution and print quality.
I've used this place before: http://www.swiftprintuk.com/shop/
Don't know if they would do international if you aren't in the UK...

You don't. You need a 6000+ px shot to have a decent quality poster at 300dpi. Image sites typically will only load pictures that high for photoshoots. Even if the camera used for event pictures was good enough, they usually resize to 3000px or so just for convenience. These photos are only meant for small pictures printed in glossy mags.
