Living in a bustling city is great. You look outside and see life teeming everywhere. Even better is sitting inside all cozied up while it's raining out and having such a neat view to sit infront of while investing in a nice book. 0/10 comfy my butt. 10/10 comfy. you have no taste.
>>2736138
so much this, living in one of the largest cities, and having also lived in a small beach town i can say that whats comfortable from a big city (for me) is the feeling of isolation when youre inside a nice apartment, the contrast of the busy city life outside with the isolation and tranquillity of the inside is beautiful
>>2736138
>>2736173
Shit taste, desu.
Nothing is like being completely alone in your own field. Knowing noone is staring at you or going to get in your way, and being able to lie in the grass and read a book with some tea with nothing but the sounds of nature is the most orgasmic of afternoons.
>>2736188

>>2734726
same here. that place is not comfy at all though. damn channelers.
>>2736188
Eh, I grew up in the countryside, and while it IS definitely great, it can get lonely, unless you have friends and family there with you.
As far as living alone goes, I vastly prefer the bigger city I am living in now. I can feel isolated, anonymous, but still be surrounded by millions of people as a reminder that life is carrying on and I have no influence on it. I can just watch it passively from my window, or behind my shades.

Everyone go watch the movie 30 Days Of Night and tell me again that places like that are comfy, heh. Even though vampires don't exist living that far removed from big society could make people think they could get away with a lot...

While I agree with most of your post, how is space travel dystopian?
I think it's pretty utopian to think we'll settle our disputes and focus on space travel as a type 1 civilization any time soon.
>>2739551
>how is space travel dystopian?
because your vision of space travel is in some cold, sterile, utilitarian prison-like ship, the least comfy and most impersonal living space I could possibly imagine. Even star trek let the crew members decorate their living quarters ffs
>>2739546
Go back to your basement, mom is bringing you soup.
Maybe these are what _other_ people find comfy, as it is a subjective definition.

>>2734508
This man will never breed.
>>2739851
Why not? He obviously has money, and that's the most important thing.
The only reason to belive he might not breed is the welsh flag, as it may indicate a sexual preference for sheep.
>page 9

>>2739861
Too many toys. He's an adult living a child's dream. The massive bong is the icing on the cake, any woman with a brain as well as ovaries would think twice. If he got married and had kids he'd have to give up a lot of that stuff, and he seems pretty attached to it considering the care he lavished setting up this photo.

With all due respect to your views on massive immigration and the gradual Islamization of Europe, I do believe that the Arabs seek themselves to areas that are much harder urbanized than Bruges.
In other words, smaller towns and villages with a large cultural heritage have no appeal in the eyes of the Arabs, they tend to aim for the densely populated cities.
>>2755159
>In other words, smaller towns and villages with a large cultural heritage have no appeal in the eyes of the Arabs, they tend to aim for the densely populated cities.
I'm aware of that.
But here's the thing, and you can see this happening across Germany: the government decides where to settle the immigrants, the so-called refugees, and a shitload of them went to smaller cities and towns.
In any case, they are welcome in neither of those places.
>>2755178
>so-called refugees
Oh and they are welcome wherever not so [insert useless insult I just cant hold back but which is not constructive for useful discussion] people like you live, which, thank god, are still the biggest parts of Germany
>>2755186
Do you think that if you call me a racist is somehow going to insult me? My whole family is racist. Not to mention xenophobic, though that's mostly aimed towards non-Europeans.
And this is pertinent to the discussion at hand, because for the most part, those are not refugees. They come from Middle East and Africa, but not Syria. They come to Europe for welfare and nothing else. They're economic migrants.

>>2757932
It's not so much the items, but the obvious pride and care he devotes to them. It's sheer materialism coupled with reddit tier bad taste. I'm willing to bet even money that he has a full beard, wears glasses and is moderately overweight. I can't imagine living in that house it's like a hobbit hole for neckbeards ffs. Why would you put a projector screen in such a cramped room? It defies the point of a projector if the screen ends up being the same size as a flat-screen television. The entire area is way, way, too cluttered.
>Have you ever had interaction with the opposite sex?
Yes. Money and looks will get women into your bed but they will not give you babies if you sit around smoking weed, playing video games, and collecting toys. They shouldn't anyway if they know what's good for them because a fool and his money are soon parted.

I've seen it.... both of them, I prefer the city regardless
This is one of the best threads i've been to in a long time.
The past year or so i've found myself becoming cold, bitter, and miserable. Anger has permeated my well being and i've found myself in a lonely place in life, separated from humanity and life at large.
But this time of the year when the leaves change and the weather chills I become whole again. All my emotions come back and I can feel life once again with all its sentimental values. I'm taking time off work for 5 days to enjoy October, and i'll be heading off to downtown Seattle tomorrow taking the light rail to eat at a nice cozy diner and drink some tea. Seattle is one of the coziest places i've ever been, such an intimate little city settled in the Puget Sound.
Stay cozy anons.
