Would be a lullaby to my ears
>>2694222
Agreed. Give me a proper storm with thunder and lightning. I'll sleep like a baby.
Although to be honest, on an offshore rig like that you would probably hear the constant low pitch hum of electrical generators...
I would post more but I'm on vacation .
More chemical plants please.

Sorry friend. It came up in my search.
>>2719235
At first I thought he was trying to kiss her, but then I realized it must be really loud wherever they are. But he's probably looking at her lips because he's trying to read them, not because he wants to finesse his way in there lol. But it looks like it at first.

Why hit the gym when you can have a profession that puts food in your mouth and keeps you in shape? And puts coal in your lungs? These guys have it all.
>>2720996
You know it's funny you should say that because the tag line of this photo was that the male worker was attracted to the female worker.
But yeah you can tell right away some people have never held a real, blood sweat and tears job when they say something like that.

We live on the surface of hell.

Yeah I have a years worth of millwork experience but I'm used to visual cues like seeing everyone with earmuffs on haha.

Working as a cart pusher at Walmart for $10 an hour.
Free workout.
Free tan.
Free lols at the numerous Bernie stickers in parking lot.
Personal experience working in a place this. Tough to get promoted. Tough to get a slight wage increase. They expect you to do overtime when you can't and than refuse when you need it.
Can't really contribute, but I just want to say thanks for the great thread, I've saved a number of these for wallpapers.
You've likely seen this before, but the scale never ceases to amaze me.

What kind of factory is that ?
>>2724957
If I remember correctly it was a cell phone factory in Texas that reopened.

>find someone slacking off playing solitaire or something.
There's literally no time to play or your station will fill up fast with work. Also, the team leader or Sup will walk past.

Great thread. Thank you
Sorry I cant contribute with more stuff.

>>2728988
technicly I wasn't allowed to make this photo's, but the night guard was chill about it. (there was a navy ship on the other side of the dock.)
>>2729004
excuse the previous gramatic errors, it's rather late for me... The blue light in the top is the top part of the oil rig where welders were working.
>>2729039
These were just the high-lights of that evening, this picture is of the complete warf from a distance. I had to race home after this picture because a lightning storm was about to hit the coast. FYI when I arrived home it started to rain extremelly hard and the loudest thunder hit.

I wish he would mount me like the bitch in heat that I am.

Take the cranes off, put it on a mountainside, park a few supercars next to it, and it would fit right into the neighborhood.

how do they not die when using those lifeboats?
>>2747189
The boat could be on some sort of platform. That red paint looks like it might go under the waterline when the boat is actually sailing around.
>>2747189
look up drop lifeboats
most of the seats are backwardrs and the others have head restraints
>>2747189
Actually looks like a lot of fun. Although the circumstances in which they would need to be used would be pretty damn terrifying.

That intersection, with the stop sign, is State & E 4th, in Bethlehem, PA.
The mill in the background used to be called "Bethlehem Steel", but people call it "Steel Stacks" nowadays.

I think they are diesel-electric, like locomotives. They don't have gearboxes per se.
