I alway found it strange that when the owner of the hotel is talking to Jack about the murders at the start, he says Grady put the bodies of his children neatly in a bedroom, but when Danny sees the murder scene, they're not this at all. Also he describes the kids as 8 and 10. But the kids we see are rather obviously twins, ( they were literally played by twins, had to be intentional) So who are we looking at?

Another interesting point, the owner says the caretaker's name was Charles Grady, and yet when Jack meets 'Grady' in the bathroom, this Grady's name is Delbert, which Jack either doesn't mention, or doesn't realise himself, who is this Grady then?

There seems to be an entire second family in the hotel.
