Carbs are the foundation of muscle expansion. If you're gaining muscle mass, carbs are around 50-60% of your intake. Nobody, whether bulking or cutting, needs any more than 1g to 1.5g of protein per lb of bodyweight per day.

In terms of cutting, it's as simple as calories in/calories out; if you're eating less than your TDEE, you're losing weight. A high-protein diet for cutting is recommended to prevent muscle atrophy.

From my experience there are different types of "Skinny"

Not just skinnyfat or auschwitz or whatever. Being skinny suits different frames, some better than others.

I think that being young and skinny is fine. But old and skinny makes you look 10x older. I also think that being skinny looks better when you have actual muscle tone, not flab or literal skeletal shape like pic related.

I think Asians pull off being skinny the best (I don't see any in this thread). They have that perfect balance of lean muscle tone, and youthfulness in the face to pull it off.

Skinny white people usually end up looking like the cryptkeeper.
