Hey, philosophy majors, why did you choose that?
They were the classes that interested me most. Now I am dropping out to become an electrician and pursue philosophy in my own time.
I have other plans for my career so I took a philosophy degree because it was an area of interest, don't regret it at all

Because I am a fucking idiot
They fell for the meme

Life is to short to waste it in studies whose only pleasure (for you) is the money they may offer you.
At first I thought I would be able to uncover the truth that resides in the world.
Now my goal is to push my philosophy on other people.
I took one class and loved it. Currently doing a B.A in Philosophy after dropping out of my CompSci degree since I loved it so much. Might even add another liberal arts major.
Philosophy isnt the modern stereotypical white male thinking "The Nature of the soul is with God" It has a much greater logical and analytical reasoning than most other majors besides History. Hell Philosophy is a lot similar to mathematics (Discrete Mathematics) in some aspects. I don't regret changing my major to Philosophy as im currently pursuing the degree now. It might take an extra year or so but I believe its well worth it. Philosophy to me is alcohol for the soul.

Picked it up as a double major with all my elective time because I was interested. Not having any trouble supporting myself and have zero debt. No regrets.

What's your other major?

Judging by your choice of words I remember exactly why I stayed out of Philosophy.
