Most were killed off after the sacking of Carthage in the third punic war. The ones who remained were either displaced, never to return to Carthage again or even Roman territory, or sold off else where. I image the ones who did stay with the Romans assimilated but in extremely small numbers.

In general, Carthaginians in Africa merged with other sedentary populations into "Romans", as opposed to nomadic or semi-nomadic Berbers.

Sort of, the Punic language was still being spoken in the 5th century AD so the coastal population still considered itself distinct from the Berbers of the interior.

At first many people were sold into slavery. But over the course of a generation or two they assimilated. Rome was actually very open compared to most other civilizations. So long as they were acting roman and living in the empire.
