You've probably heard it called "the Gospel of James."

Many prefer calling it the protoevangelium because it's more of a prequel to the synoptic gospels, detailing more of Mary's early life than her son's.

The Gospel of James is probably a fabrication.
On the other hand the Gospel of Peter is quite interesting because it seems to agree a lot with the earlier narratives such as Mark and the Gospel of the Hebrews.
