According to platonic philosophy (and individual) opinion is it best to call the demiurge evil? Or simply inept?

Neoplatonics would be hard pressed to view the Demiurge as anything LESS than inept, up to and including full blown benevolent. which Timaeus asserts very stiffly.
It's only around the time of Plotinus' reaching toward henology that the point of view starts to erode.
