Hey guys, things are looking up now that the French have been beaten into line. Your borders are now secure from land attacks by those absolute monarchists from the North. Moreover their army and navy have been beaten into line and they can't afford to rearm any time soon.

However there is a bit of a problem: fighting a war against France around the world is kind of expensive. As such we're introducing a Stamp Tax in the colonies. It's not a big thing and I know it's going to be a bit of an annoyance, however we need to pay our redcoats buy them muskets and buy ships and cannons and Limed Rum for our navy to keep you guys safe.
