This one holds a special place in my heart because it was the first ww2 doc i ever watched, that being said, it only focuses on America and is limited in footage since it was one of the first incolor/hd docs. but its music is great, provides intense feels and captures the home front really well
also if anyone knows any good docs about rhodesia, angola or the horn of africa wars that dont pander /pol/ shit, please post 'em

Civilization by Kenneth Clark is masterful
i never really watch documentaries, but i think this series about the russian Romanov dynasty is pretty good.
