Does game theory make sociology irrelevant?
Since game theory allows us to predict with mathematical accuracy the behaviors and effects of human behaviors, isn't sociology just political masturbation at this point?
Also, what (if anything) has sociology contributed to the planet?

Your understanding of sociology means that:
>Law in general makes sociology irrelevant.
>Natural sciences in general makes sociology irrelevant.
>Art in general makes sociology irrelevant.
>Politics in general makes sociology irrelevant.
>Religions in general makes sociology irrelevant.
All these systems observes society. Just because there are specific ways of observing society (or society/nature), does not mean there could not be sociology.
Therefore if you understand sociology well, you know that the topic is not "society", but systems of observation society.
Therefore sociology studies economics and economy, law, politics and political science, art, natural sciences and so on.
Then again most of sociologist are too dumb to be able to understand this.
But the rule of sociological systems theory is near.
