Couldn't agree more. Giving equal time for one view that's basically universally held and one a few nutcases can't stop talking about isn't being neutral, it's borderline dishonesty.

Then again, I think he's pretty clear on when he's teaching the contrarian for contrarians sake. A good example is the first videos in season 2 about rethinking civilization.

I see where you anons are coming from. I also prefer balls to the wall objectivity. But I think some "contrarian spice" is somewhat beneficial . I and most other people got the impression from our primary school education that the Greeks were the bee's knees and the Mongols were just a bunch of barbarians. Though in many ways true, flipping those perceptions upside down helps average joes watching the video series view history more complexly.

They hear the Greeks were good then they hear the Greeks were bad. They know both can't be true so they find a middle ground closer to the actual truth.
