Any law/international relations students here?
Can a diplomat in another country do things that are illegal in his home country? For example, gambling is illegal here in Brazil, but if I'm Brazil's ambassador to the US, can I gamble in Vegas to my heart's content?
Yes, extraterritoriality is not an AOE around your person, it only applies within the embassy itself
Also the extraterritoriality is a presumption so you are not subject to foreign taxes and such trivialities. Definitely not a do-everything card
