It's not about being anti-technology.
If we are to serve a moral purpose, it doesn't have to exclude technology.
If we are to serve an ethical purpose (in regards to our environment), then we ought to exclude technology if it's harmful to the environment.

Anarchism forbids any kind of authority, be it by law or by social rule.
Hierarchism, is strictly social rule, no law (aka civil rule), by hierarchy.

I'm not necessarily a primitivist; there's room for some amount of technology (as long as it's eco friendly). I just disagree with civilization mostly, all of its implications, and all of its sources.
