He got a fairly stable country that probably would've been conquered by Russia eventually if lesser rules were in charge of it.

I feel too many people shit on him because the main reason Prussia survived the 7 year wars was just dumb luck of the new Russian monarch being a huge Prussiaboo but in reality if it didn't happen the way it did, Prussia would've been eaten by Russia eventually regardless of who was on the throne.
