What writing system do the people in countries that use logograms

What writing system do the people in countries that use logograms learn first?

I know Japanese children start with Hiragana, and I believe that Taiwanse children learn Bopomofo/Zhuyin first, but what about the different people within mainland China?

Do they learn Pinyin first? What about the people who use other Chinese languages, do they learn to write their own language after/through Mandarin (if at all)? What about other minorities such as Tibetans or Uyghurs, do they learn Pinyin or their own writing systems first?
