>homo sapiens sapiens have been around for about 200k years
>split off from denisovans a bit more that 1 million years ago,and from neanderthals maybe slightly less
>neanderthals were probably slightly smarter than us
>they say the beginning of civilization was triggered by the changing climate BUT
the we are still /in/ an ice age, there have been loads of interglacials and glacial maxima
>civilization/farming had many INDEPENDENT origins, in the americas, in the middle east, new guinea, china etc
>all within roughly the last 10k year period
why? why dont we find some before ? why do they start both :
-inependently
-all within a very close time

stop beileving in retarded marxist history
>>
>>3369672
>retarded marxist history
what are you talking about
>>
>>3369776
your whole OP is retarded marxist alt-history recorded by no people and touted around as fact by other retarded fedora-tipping social-democrats and antifags
>>
>>3369786
which bit of it in particular?
anyway,
do you have any explanations for why it never started before the last interglacial
>>
>>3369664
But that's actually not true, in China people settles down aorund 20.000 BC, in Europe 5.500 BC.

As to what the Chinks did inbetween 20.000 and around 4.000, well, nobody knows.
>>
>>3369794
Why what never started
People were steadily progressing since always
>>
>>3369786
Wow you are fucking stupid.
/pol/ is not a reputable source.

>"The Neolithic period, which began in China around 10,000 B.C. and "
http://www.metmuseum.org/toah/hd/cneo/hd_cneo.htm
anyway, how come :
>so many hunter gatheres independently settle down on different continents
>all within such a short time from each other, compared to the length of time people have been around?
>>
>>3369811
>Why what never started
>People were steadily progressing since always
why did no devisovans, hiedelbergensis, nenderthals etc develop civilization in one of the pliestocene times when glaciers retreated and the earth got warmer
>>
>>3369842
What kinda answer are you even looking for, it just didn't happen
>>
>>3369664
We actually don't really know a lot about pre-history because most of what then would have been the most fertile regions are now being covered in water. The Beringia for example between Asia and America was one of the most habitable land for humans, with both large herdes of Mammoths and other animals, and large quantities of wood.

It can also be that a primitive form of agriculture appeared somewhere 50.000 years ago and vanished again.

As to why civilization started to appear relatively simultaneously in China, India, and the Middle East, well, probably one was first and infleuenced the others. It then starting independently in the Americas around 6.000 years later is not so unlikely.
>>
>>3369806
You mean between 20,000 and 1,900 BC?

The first signs of urbanization are around 1900-1700 BC in china

urbanization =/= settling down. Native North Americans settled down but didnt urbanize.
>>

>It can also be that a primitive form of agriculture appeared somewhere 50.000 years ago and vanished again.
see ,thats an interesting idea and definitely something that needs further investigation, do you know of any[serious] archaeologists who have looked into that? or sites etc?
there are so many collapsed civilizations, and a few extinct or mostly extinct hominins
>>
>>3369914
only the Sioux didn't urbanize

The Incans, Aztecs, Olmecs, and a variety of other tribes urbanized. At least in the sense that they created settlements that were inhabbited for a long period of time. And were somewhat self-sustaining

Wow, What an incredible rebuttal, Chang please show me evidence of civilization in China before that period, and I'm even stretching it since literate civilization didn't exist in China before 1,200 BC
>>
>>3369935
Wait you were talking about civilization just in China?

I thought you meant anywhere in the world
>>
Humans outside of Africa are hybrids of Neandertal and Denisovan and H. sapiens.

Africans have some DNA from an unidentified Hominid in them.
>>
>>3369943
Do A. Indians have Neandertal of Denisovan DNA?
>>
>>3369922
Well, primitive forms of agriculture does not mean that there maybe were advanced civilizations like ancient egypt or something. Those probably didn't exist, because an advancement like that would have spread fairly quickly.

So, first primitive forms of agriculture probably emerged in east Asia around 20.000 BC, spread throughout the globe, so that around 10.000 BC almost all humans lived in that style, and then more complex forms of urbanized civilization started popping up in the most fertile regions.
