Does needing to poop keep human progress back, or does it help it?

Think of all the philosophy and inventions which were probably dreamed up on the shitter. Helped, no doubt about it

Back
If we were a liquid only ingesting lifeform there would be less time and resource lost in residue processing
We would simply pee and don't need to worry about wiping and washing our asses.

I'd say that we would get more done if we could just perfectly process food and thus would have no waste, but we've probably thought up some interesting stuff sitting there.

Game theory would say you need most people to have ethics and morals, with a select few not having any, but it needs to be set up in a way it doesn't become a free for all.
>>3359736
They hold us back imagine how advanced whites would be if we stopped this savior if the world horseshit.
Ethics and morals are the goal in itself towards which we are progressing.
>>3359736
Can not tell, too much variables involved
>>3359736
>human progress
well, well...

But why
>>3359736
Morality is related to our ability to put aside short term gain for long term gain. If our ancestors did not spend hours trying to make fires, knapping stones and making traps and migrating 100s of miles they would have died off. Humans need to develop an abstract ideal to follow, in a way it is already a form of morality to put aside short term gain for your future self and your kin, though you already have some emotional incentive to do this. To go further, beyond the tribe, to push for the success of a religion, an ideal or the state, you need a moral code divorced from human feeling.

Honestly it would be pretty cool if we had some form of photosynthesis going on.
Although that would create a lot of problems of their own.
But the sun worshipping cults would be pretty sick
>>3359736
Progress without morals lacks justification, thus progress for its own sake would be a fallacy.
What could you say of progress that you could use to justify it?
>>3359736
>"progress"
Nice meme/spook.
Ethics and morals are human constructs.
So it's basically just incessant bickering
helps it
Stops us from being murderhobos long enough to actually work together.
