French archaeologists discovered the rosetta stone, the brits just won a battle and took it off the french

German (amateur) archaeologist discovered the ruins of what was Troy and took loads of interesting jewellery. and then most of it disappeared into soviet "safekeeping" at the end of WW2

If you actually know about the history of archaeology then you will know that archaeologists come from all over the place. You just think most archaeologists are British because of pop culture figures like Howard Carter, despite France having many more notable Egyptologists.

Those are just the ones you hear about, there's a lot of famous French and Italian archaeologists who are responsible for a lot of our knowledge about Egypt (fuck the Italians though, they were no better than your average tomb robber in 9/10 cases).

Because only humans care about the past. Animals such as wogs and French"""men""" simply react to stimulus without reflection, only the human (ie, Anglos) is capable of finding value in reflection.
