The Gulf War did not take place. It was all a simulation.

Soldiers literally always get sick when they're placed in exotic locations without having proper time to acclimatize. Read about colonial wars in Africa and you'll hear all about European soldiers constantly getting sick because they're being exposed to African diseases to which they have no immunity. Soldiers who've been stationed on the continent for a long time have built up some immunity to the environment and consequently are able to cope much more effectively. It's not any different for the Middle-East.

Civil war: Soldier's Heart
WWI: Shell shock
WWII: Battle Fatigue
Gulf: Gulf War Syndrome
Current: PTSD

That's......completely wrong. PTSD is a reaction to stressful situations. Gulf War Syndrome wasn't stress-related.

Everything is stress related, but there's other causes as well.
I don't by the Depleted Uranium theory though, not enough of the stuff was used to sicken that many people. Much more likely is the exposure to the extremely nasty shit in burning crude after Saddam lit the wells on fire.
