What did Germany mean by this?

Germany and Italy didn't like each other until the Spanish Civil War. Earlier they were disputing who would rule Austria.

Send arms through French Djibouti probably, the French had a railroad into Ethiopia, which the Italians most likely wouldn't want to bomb for fear of pissing off France

KMT was a big buyer of German equipment and was often in need of it (subduing warlords, civil war, war with Japan) so it was valuable trading partner for Germany which is why many Chinese ended up with German style helmets and uniforms.

They went far beyond that, they had German advisers over there training and advising the Chinese. Von Falkenhausen is probably the most well known German general to have served in China before the war and was a good friend of Chiang Kai-shek.
They were pulled out after Japan and Germany signed the pact.

Hillarious story: von Ribbentrop was so excited to sign the deal with Japan that he immediately cut off trade relations with Chiba without telling anybody...including Goering, who was in charge of the rearmament plans. China was Germany's largest source of Tungsten, and one day that was suddenly cut off. Von Ribbettop said, 'no problem, we'll just buy it from Japanese occupied China!' Goering had to shove Ribbentrop's nose in a map and explain to him the interior bits are the ones with resources.

Why was Hitler such an autist? What do you think he was doing with his right hand /his/?

I'm starting to think Ribbentrop was equally as culpable as Hitler for WWII
