Hey /his/, I'm currently attempting to brainstorm ideas for a Doctoral thesis and I need materials to read. Unfortunately, academic books & publications in our line of work is largely hidden online or through paywalls (i.e. I want a 10 page review on JSTOR - they want £30 for the privilege).
Does anybody know how I can get my hands on such material, preferably free of charge?

Is 30lbs for a one article or a monthly charge?

Sci-hub(DOT)cc paste in ANY link to any academic journal and voila you can access any academic article in the world
Archaeologist here
Surprisingly google scholar offers a good selection of free .pdfs. Just make sure you have the peer review box ticked or else you can get some weird and untrue research papers.

Also check your college library. Sometimes they have subscriptions for journals and sites such as JSTOR that you can use.
