Since this board is full of americans, i might ask:
Do you guys seriously see love as some ultimate high goal and drive in life etc. how they portray it in bullshit hollywood movies, or do you also realize its just a chemical reaction designed to make people breed?
I recognize what it is but also hope for something more
As of recently, humanity to me has become a largely desolate landscape of love. If you look at modern America specifically, however, it's nothing but a bunch of hateful, uptight, self-important special interests spreading the idea of love through bullshit consumerism and pseudo-spiritual nonsense with the idea that we, as a sheep herd, will get along and love one another...
Even though a biased and small minded, not to mention small stature, media throws out all that get togetherness with focus on the two or three objections to progress instead of where we should be aimed: our illustrious first world government who utilize fascism akin to how a dentist might use laughing gas to dull pain for an oral operation: through hollywoodizing small issues into large issues and leaving us distracted from actual problems.
In this rant, I may not have answered the question, so here's my final thesis: love is whatever your perspective on it wants to be, because we, as humans, have a lot of power to change things by believing a certain way. Look at how we treated our vets coming back from WW2 compared to Vietnam. Patriotism changes. Ideas change. Therefore, while I don't agree with the notion, love changes too.

No. Anal sex is the ultimate high goal and drive in life. Love is just a tool you use to let your lover stick your dick in his or her butt.
