Are there ancient recordings of hurricanes/typhoons?
The mongol invasion of japan was thwarted by a typhoon. They called it a kamikaze or "divine wind"

There are some Sumerian wax cylinders with recordings of storms on them, but they are just regular storms, not hurricanes, plus most of the cylinders were destroyed during the Gulf War. I was lucky enough to hear some of the recordings when I was working for Saddam before Gulf War 1, they were pretty low-fi but it was fairly cool to hear what storms sounded like thousands of years ago.

Were you taking 10 tabs of acid a day or something? That's the only explanation I can think of for someone who claims to have worked for Saddam and listened to lo-fi recordings of ancient storms on wax scrolls.
