In what ways, exactly? I never understood this reasoning. Is it the international cooperation of Communist states? Is diplomacy anti-nationalist?

Is it the spreading of communist ideals to non-communist states? That doesn't exactly give up any sort of sovereignty, and also, wouldn't the Catholic (or any other church) be anti-nationalist by their nature?
