>"White" and "Black" is just an American meme
This is an idiotic opinion not rooted in historical reality. "White" and "black" races were observed by everyone from Romans and ancient Arabs to Spanish colonialists, centuries before America even existed. The word "Ethiopian" was literally used as an umbrella term for all blacks by the Greeks and the Romans, it didn't mean just people from Ethiopia itself.
>b-but white people don't real, only Germans Russians French are real things
Note that every group of white people that came into contact with blacks developed these concepts.

I think OP was talking about segregation based on race, not the mere acknowledge of racial differences
>>3328940
Well he said white and black, he didn't say racial segregation.
I think it's a pretty popular idea that Byzantine, and early Christian history, is boring as shit. Such a decline from what came before it.

Ethnicity > Race

Hardly.

>I think it's a pretty popular idea that Byzantine, and early Christian history, is boring as shit. Such a decline from what came before it.
It's popular amongst plebs that don't know any of it. The Rome of Late Antiquity is even more interesting than the Rome of the Republic. Only uneducated retards that get their historical knowledge from tv shows and pop culture books would think otherwise.

>Mesoamericans were the least savage of the Americas
lol what?
Except for the whole Human sacrifice thing, bloodletting, garland wars, and having Empires based on extracting tribute from their vassals and brutal oppression.
It is telling all the Aztec vassals sided with the Spaniards just to see them burn.
The Incas in Peru were much less brutal, their Empire was based on slow assimilation and integration of conquered cultures, and Human sacrifice was almost non-existant. (Although there are isolated cases)
Your opinions are shit, m8

>For an early culture that would rarely come into contact with a different race
Maybe, but that's like saying regional identity matters more than ethnicity because people weren't often in contact with different ethnicities, and so being Franconian matters more than being German.
