High IQ caters to being overly analytical and therefore not creative, unable to connect seemingly distant subjects to create something new but able to dig deeper into something than other people. Creativity is determined by your personality and your habits, the most creative people, whose works are lauded as genius, have personalities that cater to connecting things that people don't think about, and has nothing but a mild correlation to intelligence.
High IQ people are a scalpel-sharp blade and can go deeper than other people but can't do anything else, and creative people are a swiss pocket knife, the most creative having tools for everything no matter what it is like pic related - high IQ make genius from going deeper than we have before like some kind of brute force pure calculative power, and creative people make genius by combining things nobody ever thought to in such a weird way that turns out genius AKA a weird personality and habits/eclectic

No, you're perfectly right and I noticed this too.

IQ actually correlates with creativity, although I'll agree that imagination is more important than intelligence.
Here's a quick test: imagine a tiger. Close your eyes if you have to, but visualize it like you're actually seeing it standing right there in front of you. Once you're looking at it, read the following question:
How many black stripes does it have?
IQ is a meaningless metric. Intelligence should better be defined as understanding, and every group of people on the planet has differing levels of understanding on different topics. The only reason any one facet of understanding is prized above another is it's usefulness in the society in which the individual or group lives.
The idea that you can use IQ like an intellectual sledgehammer is silly and does great harm to the idea that you can train your brain to think in different ways

I'd say 40 or so, with 15 big ones on the back.
What's the point of the question though?

IQ measures the general the ability to learn, any fields. The g factor.
Its not meaningless, its perfectly suited for it in most case scenarios.
However IQ doesn't determine whether a person is a knowledgeable person or not. If a high IQ person were to study in many disciplines, then they would be considered smart. If they slack off, then they're just a high IQ person. Potential but not tapped.
