I want to learn about german history. But my understanding is that vermy many resources are compromised by revisionists and (((them)) (Wikipedia, Youtube, german books). I also don't want resources that are compromised by the other side of the political spectrum, i.e. no Nazi propaganda and the like.
I just want the most objective resource on german history. Can you guys point me in the right direction?
I'm german btw, so I've learned some stuff in school, but I don't think what we were told was very accurate. Same goes for german books about german history, I have the feeling they are very biased, I dunno.

What did you mean by this?

I'm refering mostly to what we've learned about WW2. Today I feel like germany was portrayed as "the bad guys" and that we were to blame for all the bad that happened. Some conspiracy theorists might say we were conditioned to hate ourselves. I don't know if I completely agree with that, but it kinda really seems like it.
I'm sorry, I'm not that much of a history buff, but I wanna learn.

I mean that I don't want propaganda from either side, just the most objective view of what really happend in german history.

Iron Kingdom is great if you want to learn about Prussia though it kind of falters a bit in the last bit of the book when the German Empire is formed but the focus is still exclusively on Prussia.
